Dell Hines is founder and managing director of Axiom Capital Services, where he is responsible for leading client engagements and overseeing the firm’s strategy and business development activities. His expertise is in designing and launching new business models, structuring and negotiating business transactions between trading partners, and arranging debt and equity financing for mid-sized companies.
He founded Axiom in 2006 following a successful career in consulting and industry. Most recently he served as Partner at CGI Group, a global consulting and technology firm, where he was a member of the leadership team of the Spend Management Solutions practice. In this role he was responsible for setting strategy, overseeing delivery of client procurement initiatives, and evaluating strategic acquisitions. As a result of his leadership, the business unit experienced earnings growth of 46%. Prior to CGI, he was with Accenture where he helped a variety of leading organizations develop and execute strategic sourcing programs, global outsourcing initiatives, business development campaigns, and reengineering projects. Previously, he held roles as an advanced manufacturing improvement engineer at 3M.
Dell attended the Illinois Institute of Technology and holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from The University of Illinois at Chicago. He also holds an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.
A devout Christian, he is happily married and the father of two children.
